Life is full of gentle surprises—if we’re willing to notice them.
We often imagine spiritual experiences as lightning-bolt awakenings or visions wrapped in golden light. But in truth, Spirit is far more subtle. It usually moves through our lives quietly, offering us soft nudges—everyday epiphanies.
These moments are like spiritual bookmarks:
“Spirit doesn’t always come with thunder, yet the messenger's presence echoes within your soul, inviting you to notice.”
–– Laura Alden Kamm ––
We often miss these sacred signals during stress, busyness, or doubt. That’s okay. It’s understandable. Yet, as you know, Spirit doesn’t stop speaking—it waits patiently until you pause, soften, and say, “I’m listening.”
Here are two simple practices to help you catch your everyday epiphanies:
Practice #1 – The 3-Minute Stillness
Set a timer for three minutes or more.
Sit quietly. Breathe into your heart.
Then, simply ask: “Where is Spirit showing up in my life today?”
Don’t search for answers. Just notice what arises—an image, a thought, a feeling, or even silence. All of it counts.
Practice #2 – Sacred Object Noticing
Choose one object around you—a mug, a pen, a flower. Hold it and ask:
“What lesson or message does this carry for me right now?”
Let your intuition play.
“Spirit often speaks through the ordinary to reveal the extraordinary.”
–– Laura Alden Kamm ––
Remember, you’re not alone. These small moments are evidence of connection—soul to soul, Spirit to you.
The sacred doesn’t require a ceremony. It just asks for your attention.
