Uhhh, but I guess you canât look at your feet if youâre reading! đ
Yet, whether youâre lying down, sitting, or standing, take a second and look at your beautiful feet. For just a moment, look away from the computer or phone and yep, look at your feet.
Lean over touch them if you can.Â
You may have sore feet; bones that have their own agenda; touchy fascia; toes that have been bumped and now have curvy directions all their own; or you may wear prosthetics.Â
Take your time and really look at your feet.Â
They are the feet of a mystic. Perhaps you didnât realize this. Yet, itâs true.Â
Itâs true as you seek contemplation, self-awareness and have personal, unanticipated, non-judgmental experiences with that which is beyond yourself.Â
We all have tough times with mountains to climb and valleys into which we can slide. Yet, look at your courageous feet. They'll carry you and help you find your way through.Â
The only reasons not to look ...
I love Fall. Probably because Iâm October born. I remember walking with my dad to and from the park, scooting through the scarlet and gold maple leaves. I can still smell their crisp scent.
The hill going down was a blast. âWhee!â Was one of my dadâs favorite words.
Going up the hill⌠not so much. Yet, his voice and mountain climbing lessons stayed with me, âTake tiny steps.â
At the foot of the hill our feet were grounded and solid. Tight shouldered weâd stand together and wiggle with readiness. Heâd say, âLetâs go for it!â
He always set up an arduous task by first finding joy.
Our feet would scoot like diminutive Geishas, winding zig-zag up the road, pretending weâre traveling up a hairpin mountain road.
Heâd remind me to pace myself; "Small steps make all the difference."
When you have a quiet moment, think about what youâve learned from the very beginning of your life and how that has taken you forward - up and down your hills.

Breathe. In and out. Lying on your back or sitting in a chair, take a moment. Think about your life.
What have you been attracted to within your life? What aspects of life draw you in like a tractor beam? Have you followed those paths? Or have you hung them on the wall, framed as the ubiquitous mental picture, âIâll do that someday.â
You do create your own reality. We donât have to try, push, or hurt ourselves in order to do so. The seeds of your real life are already within you.
When youâre drawn to something, that is an indication that the seeds of manifestation regarding a new life, a new path, a new oath is rising within you, readying itself for birth.
Seeds. Path. Oath. Life travels and unwraps its treasures in this order.
You canât find the path until you listen within. Hear the unburdening of the hull around the seed? It crackles with new life.
As this occurs, you notice that your footsteps, your heartâs whispers, and mind take you in a new direction. A new path. A new way...
